Franklinton, LA | The higher concavity blade will require a greater cutting angle for good penetration. They will make bigger ridges if you go over 5.5 - 6 MPH. Plugging will be a bigger problem in moist clay soil.
You will not have a lot of difference in the angle 2.5 - 3" from the center of the blade. The spacer spool bevel should not be a problem with 2.5 or 3" concavity blades.
I like lower concavity blades for the speeds we run today.
