Subject: RE: Subsidies

You really slipped a cog.

Stopping all subsidies and welfare?? What does that look like?

A). A whole lot of hungry people— short term and long term

For those of you that are under 65— pull crop maps from 1990-1995. Most of you aren’t farming. Those that are, are smaller. Livestock west of the Missouri?? Not going to happen.

I always get a chuckle at some people— Recognize that since 1990 (give or take) agriculture hasn’t had many bad days thanks to Big Hog and Ethanol. Most just stood still, let inflation happen and think they were smart enough to have something to do with it— very few did.

The definition of productivity also includes some measure of year to year. Hence, I-80 to I-90 from Illinois/Indiana border to 50-75 miles into Nebraska and South Dakota. It would be tough inside that area— and outside would not be likely.
