NIL, is the biggest down fall, then maybe the transfer portal.
I didn't read the article, only the headline and I can't remember how it was phrased, Marshall dropped out of their bowl game due to a coaching change and a large number of their players entering the transfer portal.
They didn’t give the coach a contract, so he had to leave after winning the conference. So a large amount of players left. Actually don’t blame them in this situation.
