west central Iowa | We have a setup similar to yours. We do have an old squeeze chute between alley and new Hyd chute. This is basically a holding chute. This keeps things moving nicely. It does take an extra person though. If cattle don’t want to enter alleyway, make it 2” wider. We have catwalk on our alleyway, that really helps us move cattle forward, without making much noise. | |
