So what? You are still receiving welfare. You think it shouldn’t be taxable income? The deadbeats would probably have to pay tax on their welfare if they made enough money to have to file a return. But if that was the case they wouldn’t be getting welfare would they? Justify it anyway you want but farmers are contributing to the debt by accepting welfare.




Would not classify these people as deadbeats

Husband wife with 4 kids can have monthly income of up to $5770 x 12 months= $69240 year. They can receive $1390 month snap benefits x 12 months = $16,680 year tax free money. These folks are going to pay very little in income tax after standard deduction and child tax credits.
