SOIL | You can continue to steer with what you have on the 7920 if you're happy with it. Your AutoSteer does not have to run through the Deere display.
What would probably work best in your situation is to go buy a used 2630 (GS3, the 2600 is GS2) with a Section Control unlock. You can get one with AutoTrac as well if you're interested. Then, get a StarFire 3000 or 6000 Receiver used. The auctions are flooded with them right now, so acquiring them is pretty affordable right now. Then, go to Ag Express and get the Deere ISO implement harness with Deere display, and StarFire connection.
If you want to go all in on Deere, you can get the ATU 300 wheel for AutoSteer, and get the plug in the AgExpress harness.
I would estimate this option to cost about $6000 without the ATU. | |
