| I honestly don't see what the problem is with a grain bin. Especially a grain bin that has trees and a building between it and the nearest house.
Yeah there's gonna be a little dust a couple times a year. Looks like the road is gravel, they should be used to a little dust. Its not like its a commercial grain setup with a tower dryer running for 2 months every year.
Yeah there will be a little more traffic, a 40k bin is ~40 semi loads out. That's a day's worth of truck traffic on the county road I live on. Yeah a tiny little bit of little fan noise, put a centrifugal fan on the back side of the bin and and no one will be able to hear that fan from the house.
I'd much rather have a grain bin nearby than a windmill, or even another house.
All that said, I wouldn't put a bin out in a field unless it was in a location that I wanted to turn into a full fledged grain setup (multiple bins and a dryer). Yeah it's handy at harvest for filling it from that particular farm, but outside of that its not handy at all, for anything.
