Pittsburg, Kansas | Thanks for stating that so eloquently. Pretty much what I found and believe but could never state it so well as you have. And I have pretty much given up on the discussions where minds are already made up (likely mine included, I admit - mostly because of my personal experience and the experience of close friends).
So I just post links to information that I think is interesting or might be beneficial to someone. No one (including me) ever changes their mind until they themselves are ready to change their mind. Most of us (me included) find sources that promote our existing beliefs. They can look at the information and decide for themselves if it is useful and/or applicable for themselves. As it should be.
Dogmas only change at a glacial pace. Blood letting was once standard of medical care. My understanding is George Washington died from it. I wonder what medical things are standard of care today 50 or 100 years from now will be considered like witchcraft was a couple hundred years ago? I have a couple of things I could guess on but will not.
