Good point. Just don't get excessive of it.

I don't normally lay out in the sun in my shorts. But ocassionally I do, on purpose. Today I did. Two 15 minute spells. I can press on my "white" areas of skin (not my farmer arms) and see I have just a very light pink around the finger press. Just what I was after.

Most days I figure I get enough just walking around here in the Caribbean during winter. But most of the time I have shirt and shorts so only a portion of my skin gets exposure. Once in a while, Sunday is as good as any, I will spend 20-30 minutes with minimal clothes on just to specifically get sun exposure.

May be right. May be wrong. Just what I try to do.

Edit: would have definitely got some extra A today as I did it right before and around lunch. Skiped scuba diving this morning. Will go this afternoon though.
