One, two, and four are about "red and processed meats". Processed meats are a big no on the carnivore diet. In my opinion, synthetic additives are to blame for 95%+ of our health problems. For me, they are to blame for 100% of my health problems. I am in no way against fresh and whole plant foods, even though I am currently carnivore and will be until June.
Number 3 appears to be a research paper that compiles the info from other studies - correct me if I am wrong. Their conclusion fits the modern day mantra for sure:
"Dietary reliance on animal-based foods tends to increase numerous pathological molecular drivers of CVD."
But, their conclusion does not say meat increases the risk of cardiovascular disease. It says that "animal based foods" "tend" to increase the "drivers" of heart disease. I admire the ambiguity.
One of which drivers is LDL, which is highly debatable and not at all set in stone. When it comes to the oxidized LDL they mention, seed oils are the largest protagonist by far. They did not make mention of whether or not the participants in the studies partook of any seed oils.
And again, this thread is about all meat diets, AKA carnivore. The paper is not about carnivore diets.
Personally, the keto/mostly carnivore diet has personally reduced the largest factors of cardiovascular disease for me - weight and blood pressure.
Weight and blood pressure are supposedly the largest "drivers" of heart disease. Most everyone that sticks with a carnivore diet sees major reductions in both, as well as insulin sensitivity, which is another major factor.
LDL may go up or down. But LDL is minor factor compared to the 3 I just mentioned and is debatable at that.
