Thumb of Michigan | I'd send a letter to the top dog of the manufacturing company (Chairman of Board, or whoever), explaining your dilemma. Worst case scenario, nothing happens, best case you'll get a new blade for FREE.
At least this is what would happen back when I worked for a major boat manufacturing, and someone sent the Chairman of the Board a letter. And it worked for me in a couple of incidences. One was a thrust bearing on a tractor I was re-building, and I screwed up one of the bearings and didn't want to buy a complete new set. | |
