Eastern Half of Kansas | We split farms for share crop landlords also. It spreads risk for them, it’s not uncommon to have very good and poor crops in same year. Like this year we had no rain to finish. This year, Setting farm records/ second highest corn crop and were drawing insurance on beans.
Added: like mentioned below, it gives a better average with trend adjust yields of a 10 year average instead of 20.
