Subject: RE: Rewarding poor business

coast of Maine
30 years ago I was struggling to pay my property tax,,go to our town office to cut them the check.Local FHA (then)office manager was there ,had a checkbook open on the counter. It had a summary list of all the tax offices he had visited and the customers he had been told to pay the property taxes of.This is so no towns could lien these already in hock to the feds properties.About the only other wannabe farmer was on the list and the dollar amount was there. He has been in business ever since.Place is a severe dump.Smokes dope regularly.I am so happy for the effort I put in to pay my taxes and he gets to "lay around the shanty and get a good buzz on"....to quote an old song.To be honest I do not envy his situation...hehehhe
