They look very happy! Unrolling works well this time of year. Gives them as place to lie down after they eat their fill. They need some bedding in this weather. Unrolling also gives everyone a chance at the hay. Your big ones are first inline like mine at the hay rings. I've been moving the rings with a bit of hay left in the bottom to give them a warm place to lie down. I'm moving this group soon to a pasture with more valleys, woods and leaves where they can make their own bedding out of the wind. What are you using to unroll your bales? |
