Holly Hill, SC | I still don't understand why farmers want to record there boundaries by driving them. Auto boundary create on Operations Center can get it done in a few minutes off of previous planting data. Small adjustments and done.
Down side to recording by driving boundaries include: excessive time, extra equipment if not using tractor, lots of points recorded versus for example 2 points to make a straight line, potential loss of signal, etc.....
I read somewhere that John Deere recommends driving the boundaries. I am just not sure why. Please explain. Thanks.
