Subject: RE: Liberty on beans

NE Indiana
In my 10 years of liberty experience. Never go below 3 lb/ac AMS. 15 GPA+, 20 is better. And keep the mix simple. Liberty doesn't seem to like a congested herbicide mix. AMS, Liberty, Roundup, and a micropack mix is all I ever spray. Never tried dual but that's going to be a crispy mix with liberty and Dual together. No way I would run clethodim with that mix also. I have never had what I would consider a Liberty failure. A few missed marestail early on. but haven't had a marestail problem in probably 5 years now. It's almost nonexistent now. We have high water hemp pressure around here, but we have never had an issue with it in soybeans. Mainly just in drown out spots in corn fields.
