The handout is nothing but corporate welfare, farmers are just a pass through mechanism to get it to Deere, Corteva, and all the other big business that got caught trying to charge rediculous prices and didn't adjust their business practices to accommodate the lower crop prices that have been coming for 2 years.
This can has been kicked down the road too long, the longer it takes to correct the more painful it will be.
