I’d say he was way ahead of most farmers back then. “Protecting the soil is his number 1 goal” comment sticks with me after reading the article. Those costs would sure be nice to work with in today’s market. $64/bag for seed? I’d love to see that. Breaking the 300 barrier on a whole farm is a goal of mine before I’m done, keep getting closer every year
