West Kentucky
You hear so many things about what some of the annual winners do to grow these plots that it almost makes them ingenuine without seeing exactly what each grower did to achieve yields. For instance, if someone lets ground lay fallow one year then follows it up with 500 bpa the next, that only equals 250 in my eyes. Or if someone sprays crops at every growth stage, that should be required to be stated as well. I want to know what yields people are achieving using practices that they would at least use on whole fields instead of plot areas. I am all about trying things to learn, but not that interested if information isn't shared. We do enter from time to time, but entries use practices that are generally used across the entire crop.
