Subject: RE: Thank You Etiquette ??

Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa

RJG - 12/18/2024 21:27 Let's say you receive an invitation to a Bridal Shower and a Wedding. Because of health reasons, unable to attend either, but send a very nice gift to both, Shower and Wedding. Does anyone WRITE "THANK YOU' notes anymore ??? I wondered IF THANK YOU notes were encluded when the couple ordered their very nice INVITATIONS .

While I agree with you completely, your age may possibly be showing.......few (in our circles at least) actually order wedding invitations 'these days'.  Can't remember the last professionally printed or, as in the olden days when we got married, engraved wedding invitation we received. They're all done thru Shutterfly or similar now, and include a line or an additional little tag of paper telling you when you can buy the selected gifts the couple has chosen.  But the same process can be used to print off one-of-a-kind thank you cards, even with photos from the actual wedding to send out after.
