Paxton, IL | There’s absolutely nothing wrong with moving the display back and forth. That’s what they’re designed to do.
Just have dealer make sure the correct software for both applications is loaded on the monitor. Make sure to save your run screen layout for each application in toolbox->layout.
When you switch the monitor, you’ll have to go into toolbox and switch a setting for either combine or tractor (after they load the correct software), and the monitor will reboot and detect either the combine or planter. You may or may not have to manually load your saved run screen layout mentioned previously.
I had the same concern about moving the combine with no monitor, but the case engineers must have actually been thinking when they designed it as it will start up and move around just fine with no monitor plugged in.
I would highly advise using a pro700 if you have one available vs getting an older pro 600. Even though they both operate pretty much exactly the same, the 700 is just a much better monitor in multiple ways.
