Clorox bleach applied to the nails with a cotton q tip worked for me. Started out twice a day applying bleach very thoroughly to each nail and the skin surface immediately next to the nail. Let it sit for 5 minutes before rinsing. I did that for a week then went to applying once a day for another week. Results are naturally very slow, the nails have to regrow to heal from the fungus, but it definitely worked for me.
I did not dilute the bleach and never felt any discomfort from the bleach. Funny thing if you Google "applying bleach for toe fungus" all sorts of dire warnings appear. To my thinking bleach is worth a try instead of the Terbinafine (Lamisil) and itraconazole (Sporanox) treatments which can have serious side effects to your heart, liver, and who knows what. Bleach is cheap too.
