I'm 36. Bouncing around that 255# mark. Was around 165# in college and enjoyed running. But life happened. Driving truck for 18 years but always farming has given me an unhealthy balance of sitting and snacking all day and jumping up and running all night. I'm still healthy with no diagnosed ailments but always tired and my guts sometimes hurt.

What diet are you referring to? I am more curious than anything. My wife and I are researching a few things we want to maybe try. Obviously more exercise would be a big help, but I'm a firm believer that what we eat and how much of it matters also.

Thank you

Not sure which post you are responding to but my diet is rather simple. When fruits (not forage) in my garden are ripe, I eat lots of them. Otherwise, I eat red meat, cream, eggs, and some cheese. In this part of the world, that means I basically eat a carnivore diet for 9 months out of the year.

I would have no problem with chicken - I just don't like fowl. I also dabble in locally caught fish, but I'm not really a fish fan.

I also drink Miller Lite and Busch Lite and will have some raw honey from time to time.

Ethanol is hypoglycemic. Raw honey may also be hypoglycemic.

The biggest thing that I avoid are ingredients that I can't make in my kitchen. If food has any ingredient that I couldn't make it in the average kitchen, I won't eat it. Seed oils especially.

As for exercise - I do less workouts now than ever and can run harder and do more pushups than ever. I just live my normal farm life.
