First look around to find out what brand has dealer support in your area. Second think about what you are going to do in the future. Some brands do better than others at expansion, such as product control, yield monitoring, planter control and such. Don't paint yourself into a corner. Ask many questions.

This right here!!

I will second this. I do not sell steering systems anymore, but did for some time. If you are new local support is very valuable and once you see what steering can do for you, you will more than likely be adding planter clutches and sprayer section control down the road. Some of the biggest returns in precision ag can come from variable rate fertilizing and seeding, as well as proper drainage. The only way to know if these pay is to have a yield monitor on your combine.
