That's a slick way of using compressed air to blow in the fiber.
On the fiber that I've run, I used 1" conduit, used a vacuum to suck a pull string through, and then pulled in pre-terminated fiber. I've never looked at mechanical terminations. Also using Bi-Di transceivers for 1GB on a single strand.
