Subject: RE: What steering to get?

northeast ohio
We started with a Trimble CFX750 and EZPilot in our 7140. Updated it to a TMX 2050 and NAV3 connected to the EZ Pilot motor. The GFX 1060 and EZPilot Pro of ellisce’s the newest generation. If you go with a Trimble system, I would recommend the motor under the steering wheel like ours. If that includes a NAV2 or 3 then mount that under the seat on the flloor rather than along the seat on the left as installation guides suggest. Regardless of what system you go with, I highly recommend buying the mount bar kit that runs from right front to rear post. It works great for mounting the monitor and any cabling such as field iq.

I have a GFX750 (WAAS) listed in classifieds that has full autopilot unlock. It could be paired with a EZ Pilot Pro motor and cable kit to make a highly functional autopilot motor drive system. This said, RTK would be higher accuracy than WAAS. https://talk.newagtalk.com/classifieds/Classified.aspx?id=248895 What I have posted is parts 1, 2, 4, 5 and 7 of diagram 2,4 in the user guide. https://chdp.ca/shop/131000-00-ptxtrimble-gfx-750-display-311/docume...

AgTalk, cabling and user guides are great resources.
