Subject: David Perlmutter on Alzheimer's - plus a lot more

Pittsburg, Kansas

Warning. This is a LONG presentation. In fact in the beginning I skipped forward about 2/3 ways to see kind of what the punch line was going to be (you can see a written timeline pop up as you drag the timeline along the bottom of the screen). Then after watching that portion I thought is was a good enough interview to spend the time to watch the whole thing. It is two hours long.

I don't necessarily agree with every single detail Perlmutter promotes, but come to think of it there is not another human on the planet that I agree with everything they say. Including my wife. Or maybe especially my wife????? LOL. Just because I do not agree with every single detail does not mean it is not worth listening to. In fact, if a person ONLY listens to people they agree with, might as well just talk to themselves because they are unlikely to learn anything new. But I digress. Some of the things I might disagree likely have more to do with my specific situation rather than generalizations that he has considering the audience he targets.

This presentation actually has a lot more to it than just Alzheimer's. It is really about metabolic health with the brain being the main target of discussion. I think it is worth watching (or just listening because there really are no visual props).

With that I present neurologist Dr David Perlmutter. It is movie length.

If that is too long to listen to I offer this alternative. It is only 30 minutes long. I know, I know. You come in after a hard days work and just want to be entertained. Don't want to have to work at thinking. So here is a pure redneck entertainment video for those that prefer. I will admit I watched a little bit of the beginning. Skipped to mid way. Then skipped to the finish. I guess I am more just a glutton for punishment with guys like Perlmutter.

Back to Alzheimer's. Nick Norwitz this time and he is always short and to the point. This one only ten minutes long. But very technical.
