Without your definition of a lot I can not truthfully answer if I swear a lot.  If once a decade is "a lot" then I am definitely guilty.

Life is about learning, and I believe a man should realize his errors and work to correct his ways.  Perhaps that is why I hold my tongue older I get and why I treat people as I would like to be treated and ask for forgiveness for my sins.  To me a sin is a sin, so subsituting a different word when you mean the orginial still makes it a sin.  Swearing is a sin, just like bearing false whitness is a sin.  A man whom bears false witness is no less a sinner than a man whom curses.

Perhaps you could become closer to God by using your real name vs bearing false whitness using a deceased's name.
