I always wonder in rattlesnake areas what percentage of the time that you see a snake it's a rattlesnake. Around here we don't have any. Usually unless it's some small garter snake if you see a snake it's a rat snake. Then black snake or king snake and a rare blue racer. I almost wonder if the black kings snakes eliminate a lot of the other snakes.
