Also in the movies it seems horses always get scared by rattlesnakes, rare up, and throw the rider. Is that normal, Hollywood, or the difference between a good horse and a not so good horse?...
Hobby horses are fat and sassy because they're overfed and rarely ridden more than an hour, working horses might be fat, and they might be sassy for the first hour of the ride, or they might be incredibly stubborn, but they're nothing like fat and sassy hobby horses for spooking. |
