| Bitcoin doesn't need to replace the dollar. The only thing it needs to do is not have its amount go over 21 million units. As long as that happens and the dollar keeps increasing in supply the amount of dollars it takes to trade for one will keep increasing. Its 8th grade math.
Over privacy and who created, it its still more private than any form of payment other than handing someone cash in person or barter. It is possible to not be tracked using bitcoin but it takes a lot of work. All transactions are tied to a address but if you can conceal who is controlling the addresses it is possible. Not easy, but possible.
Who created it is irrelevant the same way I don't care who invented the internal combustion engines or if they were a good person, I only care that it makes a wheel go around.
Most arguments against bitcoin usually can be applied against the dollar.
Most transactions are traceable
Its has no value outside of what people believe its worth
It was created by a group of shadowy people we should not trust. lol yeah ever learn how the fed was created? Pretty sure a group of well intentioned Christians didn't think it up after a Sunday stroll in the park....
