I know the sound from my Deutz R62 travels a least a mile. A little over a mile from my farm is a campgrounds that some friends of mine stay at. A few years ago I was running beans on a Friday night and my friend and his wife stopped in with some beers. They new I was running beans because they heard the V8 Deutz over at the campground!
