swMN | Lived in a 100 year old cobbled together house for 22 years, then I added on to it, (mistake) half concrete block, cement floor, half rock and mortar foundation with dirt floor, looking back we should have started from scratch, but one of our boys still lives there, bought a building site with a house built in about 1890, roof was leaking for years, dirt floor basement, was an easy decision this time
