Subject: RE: Older house

Farmington IL
I live in a the house my great great grandfather had built in 1929. Drafty ole barn with minimal electricity, aging plumbing, ancient furnace and no air when I bought it. It was virtually untouched since being built! After windows, insulation, complete rewire, complete plumbing, redoing all the plaster, redoing all the floors, replacing furnace and adding central air and lots of other things it’s very nice. Foundation was perfect. Wood work was spot less. House was square and true. They don’t build them like this any more! I have no regrets to fixing it up.
