I know a guy that setup a cyclo 900 on 24" rows for beans.  He might be interested in selling it.

I know Deere drills pretty much run the same fluted units on a new drill as the old VanBrunts from the 1960s.  Not much has changed in box drill technology, the biggest advancements are in frames, box size, and downforce while the metering unit has remained basically unchanged.

ETA:
We run a pair of 8ft JD9350 drills and I have considered switching to a pair of 10ft 9300 drills or mounting the (4) 8ft 9300/9350s on a planter frame to make a 32ft drill
