NE WI | 5300 uses plastic Zytel bushings to hold the row units at the pivot points. These wear out and when the pockets that these rest in wear out the bushings don’t last. They are $12 each now. Also make sure the drive clutch on each side isn’t wore out. They are cast pieces with a cam that are all expensive to replace. I welded mine and a neighbors up to rebuild the cogs and build up the cam. The hitch on these is a joke too. Rebuilt it once and needs it again.
