NWC Ohio | I custom shelled a plot for one of the big 3 company’s 10-12 years ago. Two of the conventional’s beat their fully traited counterparts by 14, and 18 bpa respectively. They admitted that the conventional’s have higher yield potential than their traited counterparts in environments that don’t have pressure from what the traits are protecting from. If a straight RR is compared to a non gmo conventional and weed pressure is the same and neither needs a post rescue pass for weeds, than the conventional should be out yielding the RR. | |
