mercer county, il | Id make it tight, and I don’t have any pictures of it currently, be we have an old cowboy heater we used in galvanized and cement tanks. Had a tank built around the chimney that we filled with waste oil or diesel that would drip on the wood in the firebox. Worked really slick and changed it from a fill 2x a day thing to every few days.
Make sure the oil tank holds less than the volume of your firebox. Then even if the fire goes out, it won’t overflow fuel into your water
