Hennepin, IL | I'd say go for it. Depending how far ahead of the planter you are, you might not have to worry about planting between the bands, I just wouldn't actively try to be right on top. I also would try to sidedress as much as possible. Prioritize light ground for sidedress and small, cut up fields for preplant. I'm not a big fan of the injection nozzles, I'd rather run a knife and get it in the ground, but if you're running a stabilizer it shouldn't matter and a coulter/injector might be better for long term no till anyways. | |
