Reading this it seems there are people that use it every year. Not sure how that’s possible but in my opinion the best (fairest?) provision would be to increase premiums on those that use the system every year or more often than not…… Collect on a claim? Premium goes up…. Not the neighbors….. Not the county…… Not the state……. Your premium goes up. If you get into an accident every year why should the neighbor’s car insurance premium go up?

I understand the hail insurance premiums have to follow the likely areas of hail but I don’t agree that certain areas are penalized when John Doe down the road finds a way to collect every year increasing all of our premiums.
