Are premiums priced accordingly? Is there any good map chart or data set that compares mpci premiums between counties / states ? One would think those fringe areas would have lower aph and lower liability. Have the dakotas and fringe areas seen a bigger jump in land prices proportionate to traditional corn belt states? Drop crop insurance, shut the water off on the boys in Nebraska and we would all be better off. Imagine how preposterous it is to artificially water land to grow corn to turn into ethanol. Hey I’m a corn farmer and love it all but really think about that.
