We wrap our doors in plastic to help seal them up and protect them from the silo. What kind of unloader do you have?
The unloader is a Barn-O-Matic model 400 double auger surface drive unloader. My parents had it installed on the silo in the late 1970's. Before that, everything was hand pitched.
Also have a whole pile of spare parts. Pulled another Barn-O-Matic one out of neighbors silos last year for free. They were made in New London, WI. Eventually bought out by New Idea.
