Crop insurance will still be available even if they cut the subsidies. It will just cost more for the producer that is buying the insurance.
Producers that have bankers requiring crop insurance to get an operating line will have to figure out how to cover the additional cost. The most likely place to cut those $'s is on land costs which will some time to adjust.
Honestly, I don't have a ton of sympathy for guys that push rents to levels that make for razor thin margins.
