| Used to be the leader of the local horse club. Two highlights that come to mind. We had a bunch of horse stuff donated so we gave the kids monopoly money and had an auctioneer buddy sell it. The kids got to keep what they bought. Another time we were touring a breeding farm and were lucky enough to see a foal being born. Generally we had 1 meeting andv1 field trip a month. It was always a struggle as you were competing with so many other youth activities and 4-H didn't make it easy for the youth or volunteers. | |
