NE Indiana | If Deere were to move production out of the country to lower the price of equipment that would be one thing, but they will move it out of the country and still raise the price of the product. The only winner in that is Deere. I say hold them over the fire. Deere won't sell a single piece of equipment here that has a 200% tariff on it. Trump may be bluffing but Deere isn't going to move anything if the tariffs actually get put in place. A 100k track loader would go to 300k. No one is going to buy that. I could be wrong, but I don't think Trump has plans on putting a 200% tariff on all equipment imports. Just products that used to be made here that get moved out of the country. | |
