Central Alberta | I've seen it lots over the years. People seek advice from people who sometimes take advantage by recommending unnecessary or over-priced repairs.
I can't remember where I watched it, but a consumer group set up a sting operation where a new dishwasher had a wheel detached from the cart, which prevented the rotor from turning, something any serviceman could easily see.
I believe only one serviceman out of ten found the problem, and solved it for no charge. All the others recommended either costly repairs or a new machine. | |
