That would look like crap. The rows on the strip would have 2-3 leaves by the time the ones between the strips even emerged. The ground is too cold up here to not have black ground. To the OP- have you figured the extra cost of the corn head and planter row units. Have seen several here switch back to 30s-20s didn't pay
