I believe it is addiction caused by your gut micro biome and it communications with your brain.It is true your intestines direct your bodies multiple functions,,strange as it seems.I noticed similar issues when I started a near carnivore diet.Fell off the wagon two thanksgiving/xmas seasons in a row,felt poor for a couple weeks after.
