Subject: RE: Trouble sleeping

I have always had trouble sleeping at night. Even as a kid I remember taking over an hour to fall asleep at night, but hearing that most people took less than 20 minutes. When I got out of high school if I sat still during the day and I wasn't actively working on something, I had trouble staying awake. When I hit my 50's It got worse. At 55 I got a CPAP, and it made no difference for me other than the wife quit kicking me to stop my snoring. I was falling asleep during the day if I sat still, but couldn't fall asleep at night. At 56, my blood tests showed low thyroid levels, so the doctor put me on thyroid pills. They raised the numbers to within the normal range, but I had the same symptoms. Doctor upped my dose, and it still in the normal range, but closer to the middle of the range. I now sleep better now than before I was a teenager.
