It again. TIA
Go go Toolbox > Header, then open the Max Working Ht popup. You should see a horizontal white window with a black bar in it and a red line. The red line marks the current calibrated Max Work Height for the selected Crop Type. As you raise the header, the bar should "grow" to the right. As you lower the head, the bar should "shrink" to the left. When you get to the height you want data logging and acre counting to stop, press the CAL button. The red line should jump to the end of the black bar. You're done for that Crop Type. Max Work Height is saved per Crop Type, so when you change from Beans to Corn, you'll need to set a new Max Work Height for Corn.
If the bar doesn't move as you raise/lower your head, the problem is either:
1. sensor
2. wiring/connectors
3. YMIU (gold controller behind the RH service door)
4. Display (very unlikely)
There are two header height sensors on your combine, and they are different part numbers. The sensor for yield monitoring is on the right side of the feeder house (as you're sitting in the seat). So that's the one to check if you're having trouble. Dealer could have put the wrong sensor on, or there could be water in a connector, etc. |
